Our Leadership

Dianne howells

President & CEO

For more than 25 years, Dianne Howells has honed her executive leadership skills through various roles in high-tech manufacturing, all with the same goal: Protecting the United States and its allies.

As a hands-on Chief Executive, Dianne currently leads all aspects of Miltope’s business, both strategically and operationally, posturing the company for its continued success in serving the warfighter for 50 years and counting.

Dianne’s innate strategic abilities combined with strong business acumen, customer focus, and high energy uniquely enable her to assume leadership of a complex technical business, quickly identify systemic issues, and drive the organization to positively impact strategic and tactical outcomes.

Dianne’s mindset includes a drive to solve problems and see the world through the customer’s eyes, to innovate with agility and translate those ideas into realistic, pragmatic executable plans, and to over-deliver on commitments to ensure United States’ critical warfighter needs are met.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University’s College of Engineering in Computer Science, Dianne spent the first third of her career in engineering roles of increasing responsibility, first at General Dynamics, then E-Systems. The remaining majority of her career has afforded her the opportunity to learn best business practices within solid companies through business leadership roles of increasing responsibility with EDS, Raytheon, and Leonardo DRS as a line of business Vice President.
